An entertainment house featuring an 18-hole mini golf experience, eight bowling lanes, arcade games and two peculiar bars launched in Christchurch on October 7.
Funlab, known for building entertainment concepts globally, has brought Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq and Holey Moley Golf Club to Christchurch. Located on the ground floor of the EntX complex, below HOYTS cinema, it’s an ideal new place for a birthday, date or family night.
THE SPACE
The huge, dual-concept funhouse encompasses a range of interactive zones under one roof. Get competitive at the craziest mini golf featuring The Simpsons, Monopoly, a Ferris Wheel and more, before hitting the quirky bowling lane followed by a few stints in the Archie Bros arcade.
The neon-lit arcade boasts 25 games. These include the likes of NBA Hoops, Mario Kart, Hungry, Space Invaders and plenty thrilling VR gaming and ride experiences. While hungry visitors can expect a full-service kitchen offering delicious food, OTT milkshakes, bizarre cocktails, beers and more.
ADULTS-ONLY
The new attraction becomes an adults-only venue after 8pm. There are two bars: one is a circus-themed bar at Archie Bros, and another called The Caddyhouse. Be sure to order a unique cocktail to elevate your night out. Think The Caddyhouse’s Rub A Dub Tub, which comes in an actual mini tub, Sugar Caddy filled with goodies or the popcorn-inspired Pop Til You Drop at the arcade bar.
Certainly, this thrilling new space is one of the most instagrammable places in Christchurch. So, get ready to snap plenty of photos in this nostalgic-inducing fun complex.
Holey Moley was born in Australia in 2016 and first launched in Auckland in 2018. While Archie Brothers opened in 2019 in Auckland. Christchurch is their second location in New Zealand.
