1. Black Panther: Wakanda
This highly anticipated movie by Marvel Studios depicts the Wakandans embracing their next chapter in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. However, Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Buku, Okoye and the Dora Milaje and the Wakandans must fight to protect their world from deadly forces who want to intervene.

Starring Anya Taylor-Joy, Nicholas Hoult, Hong Chau and more…the stellar cast is enough to get us to see this horror comedy movie on November 24. It follows a couple who visit an exclusive restaurant on a remote island to indulge on food from an a-list chef (Ralph Fiennes). However, their meal comes with a few shocking surprises.
3. Black Adam
This blockbuster illustrates Black Adam (The Rock) who was once granted the almighty powers of the gods. After spending 5,000 years imprisoned for using his powers for vengeance, his freedom is challenged by a group of modern-day heroes called the Justice Society. Starring Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi, Pierce Brosnan and more…it’s a must-watch.
4. She Said
On November 17, watch as award-winning Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan bring Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor to life. The New York Times reporters who famously broke the story that helped propel the #Metoo movement, took down Harvey Weinstein and exposed sexual assault in Hollywood.
5. Avatar: The Way of Water
One of the most highly anticipated movies of the year lands in cinema on December 15. The $250m budget sequel is set 13 years after the first movie release. It tells the tale of Jake Sully, Ney’tiri and their children in Pandora who must fight a new war, against the humans, when an ancient threat resurfaces.
6. Bones And All
This coming-of-age movie is due out on November 24. The love story follows two young cannibals Maren (Taylor Russel) and Lee (Timothee Chalamet) who fall in love, as they embark on a 3,000-mile journey through the American backroads in an attempt to escape their pasts and search for their identities.
7. Puss In Boots: The Last Wish
Animation lovers will adore this flick portraying the return of everyone’s favourite Puss in Boots from Shrek. Puss has burned through eight of his nine lives, and he goes on a mission, with the help of his former nemesis Kitty and other fairytale creatures, to get back those lives. Voiced by Academy award nominee Antonio Banderas, this heartwarming movie lands in cinemas on December 26. Perfect for family night!
8. Emily
Warner Bros brings the story of one of the world’s most famous authors, Emily Bronte (Emma MacKay), to the big screen. The biographical drama imagines the uplifting journey to womanhood of this rebellious writer who died at the age of 30. Certainly, one of the best cinema movies.
9. Don’t Worry Darling
Catch this dramatic movie, both on and off the screen, before it leaves later this month. Starring everyone’s favourite 1D member, Harry Styles alongside the award-winning Florence Pugh. The movie depicts an unhappy housewife in the 1950s, living in an experimental community with her husband, who discovers disturbing secrets about their environment that threatens their lives and marriage.
