An array of epic international stars are set to play shows right here in Christchurch this coming year. Indeed, it’s no Auckland with the likes of Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran making appearances. However, there are some fantastic international stars to see in Christchurch.
1. Elton John
Say farewell to everyone’s favourite rocket man, Elton John, who will play in Christchurch for the very last time. The Farewell Yellow Brick Road World Tour takes place at Mt Smart Stadium on January 24 at 7.30pm. Better hurry if you want the last remaining tickets on Ticketmaster.

2. Electric Avenue 2023
A host of international stars will take to the stages for this festival on February 25. It’s the perfect place to dance in the sunshine to the best tunes from a mix of artists. Expect sensations like Lorde, Flume, Harper Finn, Supergroove and plenty more international stars who will lift your mood at this festival.

3. Snoop Dogg
On March 10, see legendary hip hop icon Snoop Dogg. It will be his first time performing in New Zealand since 2008 as part of his I Wanna Thank Me Tour. Additionally, expect surprise guest rappers to make an appearance like Warren G and D12.

4. Sting
See Grammy-winning English musician and actor, 71-year-old Sting aka Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner CBE, who rose to fame in the 70s and 80s as the lead singer of The Police. He will bring his bounce to Christchurch for one last time on March 1. Find out ticket information here.

5. Blink-182
Get ready for the return of your favourite punk rockers who will be hitting the road on a global comeback tour this year, with stints in Christchurch on February 26 and March 4, 2024.
