Fancy a curry night, anyone?
If you’re looking for some great, authentic Indian food we might just have the place for you. [Featured Image: @corianders_nz, Instagram].
Corianders sit on Saint Asaph Street in Christchurch, and whip up some truly tasty flavours of India. Whether you want a dining experience or a takeaway for a Netflix binge-session, this is your spot.
If you want a memorable night, we can recommend the chef’s platter. It sets you back $32 but provides the exact kind of variety that shows off why Coriander is great. Take the sizzling platter, for example. It includes two lamb chops, two tandoori king prawns, chicken seekh kebab, two fish amritsari tikka and two Coriander’s special tikka. Sizes can even be increased depending on how big your dining party is.
The two other platters, Coriander and Vegetarian, are equally tasty, and even cost a little less at $28 and $22, respectively. Check out the platters and starters here.
You’ll find plenty of great dishes in all variety elsewhere, too. If you’re in the mood for spice, look not further than their vindaloo. Fancy a lovely lamb dish? Go for their madras. The kadai prawn dish is enough to satisfyingly quell any kind of seafood cravings.
Plus, there is a full vegan and vegetarian meal, so anyone can eat here. From Aloo Gobi to vegan bhuna masala to malai kofta, the dishes here all live up to their meat counterparts.
