As we all know, Sir David Attenborough is a true storyteller of the natural world in all its fruitful beauty. Likewise, he’s the king of voice-overs with that soothing yet captivating tone.
In fact, it has been said that watching David Attenborough documentaries can reduce stress and promotes influence. His most recent Netflix movie, A Life On Our Planet, also had viewers changing their lifestyles in response to Attenborough’s urgent call to action climate change.
Therefore, we couldn’t be more excited for another natural history documentary series about dinosaurs.
Wonderfully, Prehistoric Planet is a five-part series that showcases the life of prehistoric creatures, diving into little-known facts about them and their environments in Cretaceous time. From how the Tyrannosaurus rex navigated through parenting to all the ancient beings of the sea and sky, this is a show that’s sure to fascinate and educate.
Excitingly, the talent behind the motion project is iconic. For example, Oscar-winning film composer Hans Zimmer will bring his powerful sounds, alongside filmmaker Jon Favreau from The Jungle Book and The Lion King as executive producer, to name of few of note.
A new episode of Prehistoric Planet will screen on Apple TV+ over five nights from Monday, May 23 to Friday, May 27. Indeed, the perfect flick for after a long day at work.
