Summer is nearly here!
It’s creeping up on us again, but the summer has nearly arrived in New Zealand. And, with that arrives the return of outdoor swimming, bringing the opportunity for the pool parties back to the table. [Featured Image: Thomas Park, Unsplash].
All the public outdoor pools will be back open from November 14. These are: Norman Kirk Memorial in Lyttelton, Templeton, Te Hāpua Halswell, Waltham and Jellie Park in Burnside.
Although it’s still probably going to be a little chilly, the chance to have an outdoor swim. These will all remain open until March 28, 2021.
So there’s an entire five-months of good-weather and pools to look forward to. Hallelujah! After all that 2020 has thrown, at least we can all *hopefully* enjoy some kind of great summer.
